While working at Grand Image, I created this repeat patterned wallcovering using photographic assets by painter, Michael Doyle, under the company’s home decor line, Grand Image Home. This involved capturing the original painting, selecting specific elements from the painting, digitally building a repeat pattern, adding texture, and producing a variety of colorways.
For one of Grand Image’s hospitality clients located in Boston, I created this repeat patterned wallcovering using public domain sailboat patents for nautical-themed king suites. This involved researching patents specific to sailboats, selecting specific visuals to digitally build a repeat pattern, adding texture, and producing a variety of colorways that were in line with the client’s branding.
I created this repeat patterned wallcovering for Grand Image Home’s display at Highpoint Furniture Market in 2022. I used photographic assets by painter, Kate Roebuck, under Grand Image Home. This involved capturing the original painting, digitally building a repeat pattern, adding texture, and producing a variety of colorways.
I created the following repeat pattern designs as part of my MFA program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. These patterns were the foundations of my screenprints that I printed on hand-dyed fabric and stretched onto wooden structures.
